ADHD Superpowers

I am learning from my own experiences and those my clients share with me that we come at our world intuitively first.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

We seem to just “know” things.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We get an immediate response to something, good or bad, and then we unfortunately kick it over to our brain.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Our brain, or intellect, then starts questioning or talking us out of our initial thought/feeling.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Then we find ourselves in overwhelm about making a decision.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Try it.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Next time you get that feeling about something allow yourself to go with it.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This will become a great tool to use but you need to practice it.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Big Picture Processor

This has to do with our ability to hyper focus while using our imagination.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Creating, using all the senses, is easy for those with ADHD and leads to very realistic renditions of actual events.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I have watched my clients create magnificent visions of how they want their lives to be.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And sure enough, they start to draw that life to them through Law of Attraction principles.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Remember, what you focus on, you attract back into your life.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Also the mind is constantly looking for those things that you are focusing on.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The mind does not know the difference between yesterday, today, or tomorrow.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So, create grand visions and feel them as already happening with all your senses engaged!!!

Embrace your super powers and start creating the life you want now!

Empath

I have observed that we “feel” or “sense” our world first and then filter these sensations through our mind to make sense of it.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This means we are not only sensing our own feelings, we are also picking up on other peoples emotions.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Like a web, our emotions and feelings get intertwined with those around us.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We can also call this “energy”.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We are good at feeling the energy around us.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Truly understanding what others are feeling.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Caution though....
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Be aware when taking on other peoples emotions as your own.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This does not serve you.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We have to become aware that we are actually doing this unconsciously at times.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Learn to recognize what is yours and what belongs to other people.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Empathize, but have boundaries.

I have ADHD.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I specialize in working with adults with ADHD.

Yes, we have challenges...
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
However,
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We have many strengths too!
